Discount Supplements – Most Aren’t Worth It

Discount Supplements, you can find cheap supplements everywhere, on your local grocers shelf, drug stores etc. My first question is this, why would anyone shop for supplements based on cost? Isn’t your health about the single most important thing in your life? Well, let’s re-phrase that just for fun, health, wealth, and love, those are the top 3, not necessarily in that order.

I have been involved in the health and wellness arena for many years, well over twenty now actually. It started back when I was an athlete and heavily involved in martial arts. I was using supplementation such as vitamins and protein products and the like. I worked with many, a friend introduced me to a company that had been around for many, many years, I won’t mention them by name as I am still involved with them and it is against policy to talk openly on the Internet about them, but these supplements were not “discount” supplements by any means, in fact pricey compared to what I had been using from stores.

Within a few weeks I was starting to feel a difference, that was a first. This was through a “network marketing ” company. I began to experiment with different supplements from other network marketing companies and found the products to be vastly superior for the most part. From that time forward, I have found that the best supplements were rarely cheap and often were marketed via network marketing or MLM. I can’t tell you why,  just that it seems it is so.

When choosing health supplementation, natural supplementation makes the most sense. A person should research the company producing the products. Find out about the process the company uses to produce the products. Are the raw ingredients run through stringent quality control before processing? This is a big one. BIG! What type of facility are their products made in? Is it clean? State of the art? Are the ingredients pure and free from chemical additives and artificial additives? Lastly, who runs the company, what are their philosophies and track records? I have done this type of research on numerous products and was shocked with some of the findings, nothing I would put in my body and expect good results from.

There are a number of mangosteen products on the market, in juice form, powders, pills, and so on. Many are just extracts, some claim extra added xanthones that are off the charts on the ORAC scale etc. The mangosteen powder in capsule form I work with contains 515 mg of pure mangosteen rind or “pericarp”. I’ve seen the effectiveness in double blind studies. The mangosteen fruit is very complex. There are more than 60 xanthones, each with a different property, catechins, polyphenols, sterols, polysaccharides, proanthocyanidins, polysaccharides, pycnogenol, epigallocatechins, and epigallocatechin gallate. With the exception of catechins and polysaccharides, the rest are phytochemicals.

The only way to take full advantage of all of these is in a form of pure mangosteen pure rind or powder , many years of research and development have found this to be so. There have been many hundreds of thousands of research papers written on the phytochemicals and compounds found in this fruit and their affects, very impressive.  This company controls the process from the growing field to finished product. The fruit is freeze at a specific time in the growing process. Every capsule contains 515 mg of pure mangosteen rind or powder, quite potent compared to the other products on the market, That’s quality, that’s a world class product, I have seen some processing facilities of some other mangosteen products, I won’t mention names, definitely not at all impressive. There a number of companies that do produce excellent natural health supplements with very high standards, my advice, check them out first, your health may depend on it. We have available mangosteen and acai products at a very reasonable price, as we deal directly with the “manufacturer’s” of the products
